Wing!

Ok, not wing, but swing. But this is Will's language afterall. We went to the park yesterday and he swung for awhile in the bucket swings, then he sat on my lap in the big boy swing. But he didn't want to quit. My butt hurt so I put him on the swing by himself and he held on! I pushed and had my hands out ready to catch him if he fell off. Daddy stood in front of him ready to catch him if he tried to fly. But he did great! He had so much fun. I just couldn't believe my little baby was using the BIG BOY SWING!

Terrible two's?

I'm not sure who named them that, but I think they are hitting us early. I mean, most days he is very good and tonight he was such a doll, but several nights this week he has thrown so many fits. If he doesn't get his way then he has a melt down. I know some of the problem is he just talking so much and is able to communicate to us so when he can't he gets frustrated.

But even so I'm still just so much in love with my little munchkin. When he does that deep belly laugh my heart just melts. And he gives us hugs and kisses and always asks for mommy and daddy.

I think he's learning colors too. He saw a guy on TV with a yellow shirt and pointed and said "yellow!". He also knows his body parts. He learned a lot of them at daycare so I was surprised when I asked him where his ear was and he pointed right at it.

I love you!

Will said "I Love You!" to his daddy this morning It wasn't super clear, but we knew what he was saying!

We had a great time when daddy was gone. I was ready for daddy to be back after not having a break for 4 days, but we had a lot of fun at the zoo. He saw a tiger and growled at him a lot. Then we saw a walrus and he loved that. I think his favorite thing was feeding the goats though.

This weekend we went to Omak for mother's day. My mom loved having him there. He got to play outside in the sand box and play in the water and he loved it. He is just becoming such a little boy and some days I love it and other days I miss my baby. I am getting anxious to TTC again though. I really want him to have a younger sibling.

All by myself!!

well, not exactly. I'm with Will. DH left today to go to Vegas for his friend's bachelor party (very excited about that, let me tell you). So he left on Thrusday and won't be back until Sunday after Will is in bed, then I'm home with him Monday also. I know I'll do fine because I'm with him during the day by myself all the time, but I won't have that help in the evenings or on the weekends.

Tomorrow we are going to go to the park with Nikki hopefully. Then Saturday we are going to the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma. I was going to go anyway, but then I looked and it's Mom and Me day so it works out nicely. Shannon and Nikki might come with us.

Sunday not sure what we'll do. I might take him to a movie in the afternoon. Not sure if I'll do church. He doesn't sit through it well and one of us usually has to leave with him, so if I'm going to miss the entire service anyway I don't see much point in going.
